Is it possible for their food to taste even better than last time? For presentation to look so much nicer? Or for their staff to be even friendlier and more capable? Yep! It is!! Especially the young man who managed to seat one large party after another and smile the whole time!
Why the 5 Stars? BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT! Kawanda was the best waitress, she was very friendly and gave us great service! The Store Manager even checked on us a couple times and even helped our kids finish their food with a Big Chocolate Chip Cookie bribe. The food was great. Thanks guys

Great Value. We had the Senior Pot Roast and it was delicious-so tender. So many sides to choose from. Portions large so had leftovers to bring home. Service was Excellent. Highly recommend.
Had the best experience from the greater, waitress and I believe it was the manager (I wish that I that I got their names). The food was amazing! Came out amazing! Will come again very soon.
I had an absolutely amazing experience from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by an amazing hostess, and then the manager, Hollywood, greeted me at my table and introduced himself. From the point he proceeded to take my drink order. He was a very lively individual with a wonderful personality. After bringing my drink and some hot fresh rolls to my table, he proceeded to take my order. Between him and my server, I did not want for anything throughout my meal. Every member of the staff was well presented and absolutely attentive to every individual in the restaurant. I have missed The Black Eyed Pea since the unfortunate shutdown of their locations throughout Texas and felt right at home walking in. The chicken fried steak I ordered was just as I had remembered back home. The Englewood location has just found a new regular as I will have to come back for the friendly environment, amazing service, and awesome food.
We had 9 people in our party and arrived just before 7 pm. (They close at 8). They were able to seat us, take our orders, and serve us very smoothly and quickly. We left just before 8 pm. The food was delicious and very good portions.
Went here for lunch while waiting for my car at the dealership close by. Had the 9oz house cab and the chicken fried steak. Really good food. The rolls were huge, hot and delicious. Mashed potatoes with cream gravy were perfect and the coleslaw was good. Chicken fried steak was really good and crispy. I'd definitely go back because the service was also amazing! Good food and service are rare these days!
